oh this pic breaks my heart.
Husband has recently been on a deer cull, well, ok, a shoot, on an estate up the way from us.
The deer there have got too over productive, so there needs to be a "cull".
He (much to my distaste) potted two, and two weeks later, it all arrived, perfectly and professionally butchered, and labelled into little plastic bags.
I have tentatively eaten a few bits, but this picture and the thought of Bambi in the pictures when I was young, kinda makes my appetite disappear.
