Linking to Weekend Reflections
Linking to Skywatch Friday
As I mentioned yesterday, I'm getting low on things to post, so Fergus and I are planning a ramble tomorrow. A small town near here has a festival. Maybe I will stop by to see what they have to offer. Plus, I'm always on the lookout for fences and rubbish. Do you have any weekend plans?
I'm a little behind on commenting. Too much work time and not enough play time! I'll play catch up this weekend.
Remembering Uncle O on this, the 70th Anniversary of D-Day.

ReplyDeleteI love the light in that first picture.

ReplyDeletelove the reflection shot. good luck on refilling the photo coffers.
The first shot is unique!
ReplyDeleteMy family was so fortunate. My dad, my grandfather, and my uncle all served in WWII and returned home.
The reflection in the first shot is so pretty! A big salute for your Uncle O.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! Hope you get some new pictures to post on your "ramble"...I have more posts than I can do right now, after that Madera Canyon trip and then we took the grandson up on Mt. Lemmon for some birding and I was shocked--I actually got some pictures that day! :-)
ReplyDeleteWe have our granddaughter's piano recital tonight, then Men's Fellowship breakfast tomorrow, then free to drive around and snap! Your second picture is stunning. If you squint, it looks like the pyramids! And your first picture presents an illusion. The rock like like it is flying in the air straight at me!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous skies and reflections! And let us not forget those who sacrificed for our freedom.
ReplyDeletei enjoy the light coming over the silos ... gorgeous capture.
ReplyDeletei enjoy thinking about all the folks who fought for our country. bless them for their service. it is fun to think about my parents they were born in that year. ( :

I feel like I am looking at a piece of history looking at that headstone.
ReplyDeleteWe had a neighbor whose brother-in-law was in the Battle of the Bulge.
He didn't volunteer about it...not sure if he would even talk much about it with Roger, but wish he would have just sat and talked about it.
