Fences and Fields

Feeling nostalgic, I turned down an old country road...
 ...and found this fence.

 Linking to Good Fences

 On down the road I passed what once was my farm.
 There is a wheat field beyond those wild flowers.
The pond is to the right of that silo way over yonder. I have had sellers remorse since the day the papers were signed.

    Lovely series, I love all the greenery on the first two shots with the fence. I can only imagine how hard it was for you to sell your farm. Wishing you a happy day!

    beautiful farm and isn't it great that you can drive by and remember all the good times and not remember all the work required...but...there is no compare to good farm living... or raising...

    I can only imagine how difficult that must have been. I hope your reasons were good ones and took you to a good place. The fence is so subtle ... at least until you run into it. Nice nostalgic pictures, Roan.

    Lovely farm. I bet you miss it.

    I have this crazy idea that I'd love to live on a farm, but really, I don't want to do all the work to take care of one. If I owned one, I would probably rent the land to someone else to farm and make the barn into an art center with a studio for myself. Maybe, if I win a lottery.....
