...this.
So, of course, I went around the block and took a picture from the opposite direction. The man must love signs! I can't remember ever seeing this many in one place. And then I saw this building in a small town called Janesville. His sign collection isn't quite as impressive as the other fella's, but impressive none the less.
It's Friday for all you working folks, like me, out there. Yay! Happy Friday!

ReplyDeleteI've always wanted one sign above the bedpost..."Slippery when Wet"...but Bud never approved. [kidding]
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday to you work-a-holic, you.
Signs are a neat thing to collect. Fun pictures!
ReplyDeleteHmmm. I wonder how many of these signs were obtained legally. ;)
ReplyDeleteholy smokes! i wondered the same as eg cameragirl. :)
ReplyDeleteI live near a town called Mattoon as well, only nothing there is this neat!
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty amazing collection of signs. I love old signs but I think that may be a bit much for even me :)
ReplyDeleteholy moly, he must LOVE signs! i like signs but i think my husband would throw me out if i did that lol
ReplyDeleteThe second one is arranged more artistically, with nice spaces between the signs so you can see them well. Teenagers around here used to steal street signs and put them up in their bedrooms.
ReplyDeleteGoodness...what a collection! They're kinda flaunting their thievery, no?
ReplyDeleteThose are some really neat signs!
ReplyDeleteA lot of signs that contribute to our safety on the road...
ReplyDelete"Sticky fingers" or rejects, I wonder?! (Thinking along the same lines as EG CameraGirl and TexWisGirl.)
ReplyDeleteThat's sure a load of 'em!
Happy weekend to you -

If they put up enough signs, then they don't ever have to paint. Good catch.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE signs, too. Enjoyed looking at his. :)
ReplyDeleteI thought I was following you but I checked on Google Friends Connect and wasn't....am now, tho...#200
ReplyDeleteNice collections! I bet the state transportation departments would be interested in some of those. :-)
ReplyDeleteI think it's fun to find a neat sign too. You hit the mother load, Roan.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend.
Wow! What a store! We had one near us like this, but it has gone out of business.
ReplyDeleteI love your pup's toy! Hubby buys the cats and endless amount of toys, but they do end up lost, or under things.
Once, Daisy caught her front paw claws under the stove. I had to lift the stove to get her unstuck. It was scary as I nearly dropped the stove... Joys of pet ownership!
