It's Thursday! One more day and it's the weekend. I used to like my job so much I no longer felt Friday Euphoria, but I've been so stressed lately I'm starting to feel it again.
I like the idea of birdhouses on the fence posts.
This fence doesn't look like it would keep much in or out, but it looks nice behind those blooms.
Linking to Good Fences
It is pretty, that's for sure, and I bet the birds love it.
ReplyDeleteAre those birdhouses for bluebirds, I wonder? Yes, the second fence does make a lovely backdrop for the flowers.
ReplyDeleteNeat.
ReplyDeleteI like the purple spires of the flowers against the aged wood of the fencing.
That's a lovely idea with the birdhouses -
ReplyDeleteVery nice.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel allot better as each day
continues. Not so good when you feel
blah.
I'm so dumb! I had a fence post ready (forgive the pun!) and got all excited about my grasshoppers mating!
ReplyDelete(ツ) from Cottage Country Ontario , ON, Canada!
I love the bird house on the fence. Lovely view with the purple flowers.
ReplyDeleteboth really pretty! some ranchers around here put up bluebird houses on their fence posts. :)
ReplyDeleteMy kind of fences! My neighbor north of me when their children were in wood working class they built bird houses and placed about six of them on my metal fence posts dividing our property. They are still there!
ReplyDeleteI agree, the last fence was not made to keep anything in or out. Does makes a nice sight.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love that second...purely for the look!
ReplyDeleteThose blooms look like Lupins. Might be wrong. Beautiful fences.
ReplyDeletei enjoy the 2nd fence best ... it is kind of more rustic & fun ... i enjoy the fencing that don't look so put together. a neat find. ( :
ReplyDeleteBoth fences are nice, but I do like the bird houses. :)
ReplyDeleteI am just starting my job search, so hopefully I can have Friday euphoria in the near future.
That is a very unique fence for sure! Love the ones with birdhouses too...have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteI almost looks like it is there for art! I love the birdhouses, and the little bushes are planted at just the right spots! Oh gosh, what has happened at work?
ReplyDeleteCan't beat a rustic wood fence.. unless of course there are bluebird houses on them!
ReplyDeleteThose are some neat fences! I also like the bird houses on the posts. Hope you have a very nice weekend and some of your stress will melt away.
ReplyDeleteI like your fences please take care of yourself, Friday is coming. Hug B
ReplyDeleteI love the fence and the idea of the birdhouses on the fence posts. Unfortunately we have a lot o cats about so I wouldn't put one up around here.
ReplyDeleteDiana
A great idea for the bird houses on those railing fences
ReplyDeleteThe birdhouses help keep rain from soaking the top of the posts.
ReplyDeleteI like the fences you have found. I admire phantasy and creativety. We are about to set up a new fence on our land, It looking out for good ideas.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty fences!
ReplyDeletePretty scenes and fence shots.. It is nice for the birds to have the houses all along the fence.. Happy Friday, wishing you a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteHello!:) It is a lovely idea to put up bird houses on fences. I like the wooden ones the best, and when they become weathered even more so.
ReplyDeleteI like the birdhouses, too. Sorry about the job stress, that seems to be the way it is for so many. Hopefully the beauty as shown in your photos provides an escape. You're right about the fence, it doesn't look very substantial, but the effect is nice.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fences! I think some are more for looks than practical purposes.
ReplyDeleteI like the birdhouses on the fence posts, and I really like the decorative, rustic fence in your second image.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a restful weekend.
