Rubbish Tuesday

I have taken pictures of this house before. It has always fascinated me. While trying to decide what to post today, I decided to drive by to see if the tree was in bloom. Lucky me, it was. I like the contrast between the old house with peeling paint and the spring blossoms on the Magnolia tree. After a day of rain, the colors were especially vibrant.
I'm not going to post a link, but if anyone wants to join in, feel free. The idea behind Rubbish Tuesday is to post anything old and deteriorating i.e. house, barn, outbuilding, something rusty, antiques, interesting junk, or just plain old.

I hope your weather is warmer than it is here. After a near 80° weekend, it's now a balmy 33° outside.

It was 77 yesterday morning and by noon the cold snap dropped the temp to the 50 degree range.

I LIKE this photo!!! A lot, a LOT of character and narrative without words needed.

By the way, my post today IS about something old...ironic I think.

Beautiful colors! That's a big jump to get on the ground from the door at the far left end ☺

That's a great spring time color combo. And, it's going to be below freezing tonight here in north Alabama. Geez!

Love that weathered wood! It's so unusual to see it in yellow. The tree is gorgeous--wonder if that's a redbud. We are supposed to get down to 39 tonight. Brrrr! Hope it's winter's last hurrah!
