Rubbish Tuesday

I found this old barn on the River Road last spring, I think. I went back to find it last weekend, but didn't see it. Not sure if I was distracted by a bird or something on the opposite side of the road or if it has been torn down. I plan to go look for it again when the leaves are out.

I like that it is nearly  hidden in the trees and saplings growing up around it.
Okay, so I messed up the linkey again. I was using TexWisGirls example from her fence meme and didn't correct the language. It should say post old stuff, not fences and gates. lol  One day I will get this thing right!

Oh good, I'm glad you changed the wording. I was beginning to think I had posted the wrong thing, but took the chance anyway. That's quite the barn. Good luck on finding it again once the leaves are out. Sometimes that's really hard to do! Thanks for the meme. What fun!

I'm thinking...this week's post for me for Tuesday/Wednesday isn't really anything OLD except for the trees. Would you consider trees as old? If so, they'll I'll be happy to join in. Let me know.

LOVE this barn done in Black & White.

I really am excited about this meme. I am by no means a photographer; I am a poet. However, I have a deep respect for old things, especially those abandoned, or forgotten. I do tend to take their picture. Thanks for letting me join in!

...okay, I was happy to add my link "Old Trees and Ancient River"...I read that our river that runs through the city was the FIRST to be added to European maps. So, guess the fact the 1700s maps/river is considered old. lol

Thanks for inviting me to participate this week.

I love that old barn. I do collect and love pictures of abandoned buildings ....but right now we are getting ready to leave Florida for the summer, so I am just about ready to take a short blog break. Will try to join up when we get organized again!

I wish I could join your linky party, but most of my photos are of birds...as you know! I think it's a great meme though. Love your old barn with that wonderful weathered wood.
