Mostly Yellow

I'm out of interesting birds to post, so drug out one from the archives. I have posted this one before, but it is one of my favorites since this was a new bird to me and I haven't seen one since.
Yellow Breasted Chat

Linking to Wild Bird Wednesday

On the way to Bro O's to work in the garden we pass this field. Farmers consider them weeds, but I always think of it as a beautiful field of wildflowers. Wild Mustard.
I found these on my saturday ramble. There were growing alongside the road near a bridge. Crown Vetch.

I seem to have made someone angry because I missed commenting on their post last week for Rubbish Tuesday.I try to comment on everyone that links up and thought I had.  I admit to being an imperfect soul, and I apologize.

Happy Wednesday!

From one imperfect soul to another - beautiful photos again! I take lots of photos of so called weeds, the other day I found some Deadly Nightshade growing in the hedge at the farm - such a pretty flower!

I agree with Sarah :) The bird is so pretty...looks kind of like a finch. And weeds are some of my favorite flowers. The first post I ever wrote almost a year ago was called Beautiful Weeds :)

What a gorgeous bird, even if some others have seen it before!

I can't imagine someone getting upset because you don't comment on their blog. That's just childish. I always assume that someone was enjoying real life when I don't get comments. It's not like my life depends on comments! Whoever they are should be ashamed.

...and from my experience, they are very difficult to get a decent photo of...you did well!!!

ps....those bloggers should be a bit more considerate for crying out loud!! Life is definitely outside the blog...and if you miss someone...so be it. Geez.

The bird is a real beauty! :)

PS: Like others here, I am surprised someone would complain about not getting a comment. All of us get busy in our "real lives" and sometimes things get forgotten. And anyway, I blog for my satisfaction and not for comments (although I do like getting them).

What a sweet little bird! I've never seen one of those before.

My husband LOVES seeing those fields of wild mustard. If he had his way, every flower in our yard would be yellow.

Love the crown vetch. Such a pretty, soft color.

The vetch is too pretty for such a bad name. I have not seen that bird, either. To me, there are no weeds, only wildflowers. The definition of a weed is anything that grows where people don't want it growing. If dandelions were rare and hard to grow, people would seek them out and really want them. The wild mustard field is stunning!

Talk about bright yellow! I've never seen one myself. That field in the second photo is gorgeous!

that 'chat' sure looks like a perky bird...your mustard field could be a card or a painting and love your photo of the beautiful and invasive crown vetch....
