Bird on a Fence

Carnton Plantation
This fence surrounded a Civil War cemetary on the grounds.
Closer view with a bird. I tried to find him in my bird book, but couldn't identify him. Any ideas?

P.S. He has been identified by my good readers as a Mockingbird! Thanks!

what a great capture both of fence and bird! I've never seen a mockingbird before so I've found a gem in your rubbish! LOL! I had a good laugh when I read your blog profile and explained why you call it Rubbish by Roan!
Have a fun day!

Lovely photos. I have never seen a mockingbird or even a photo of one before. I imagined something grander for a creature that is so well known!
