No ramble again this weekend, so I'm posting a couple of items from around the house.
Some of my depression glass. This is called Adam. And a cup that is really old. How old? I'm not sure, but we looked it up on the interenet at one point and found out. I'm old. I forget. I should have turned it a bit so you could see the handle better. It is a snake.
And this is a vase Hubs great aunt made and painted many years ago. She was one talented lady.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will join in the fun.
My idea was to have a place to post 'old things'. Anything old and/or deteriorating such as old houses, barns, outbuildings, old cars, rusty things, antiques, interesting junk, or it can be something in pristine condition, but just old.
1. Link to a post featuring photos of something old.
2. Link back to Rubbish by Roan in your post.
3. As time allows, visit other participants and comment on their posts.

'adam' glass and a snake cup - very garden of edenish. :)

The vase is lovely! I hope the modem makes blogging easier!
On no. No rambles. Next week!
I can certainly relate to your computer issues. I HAVE THEM DAILY, BUT SO FAR NO SOLUTION. I loved seeing your lovely antique pieces.
What a beautiful antiques pieces!
I hope the modem resolves your pc trouble.
Have a nice week.:)
Beautiful pieces! I enjoyed looking at them, and learned something new today - Adam - thanks. I was amused at you saying I'm old because I am like that too. PC trouble is no fun. Hope it gets resolved soon.
His aunt was really, really talented! Did she sell the things she created? I love everything about the cup! The size, the shape, and the wonderful print of gold Leaves. Do you use it?
The Depression glass is lovely, as is the vase! Very talented aunt!
I'm behind in visiting again but hope to catch up soon. Sounds like you're going to be a bit behind, too. :) Hope the new modem resolves the issues.

She was, indeed, talented! Your cup and glass are wonderful to see. They just don't make stuff like them anymore. I hope your problem is a simple one to fix and you can resume your regularly scheduled programming soon!
Lovely glassware and beautiful photos. I would say the great aunt was a very talented lady, indeed!
Yes, she certainly was a talented woman! Wow! We're having modem problems too - suddenly losing a connection. Very annoying. We were just talking about getting the server to give us a new one.
Hope the internet issues are solved quickly! Love that vase - such nice big flowers.
Fabulous older treasures! Love the cup with the snake handle.
Love the sweet cup and the depression glass. The vase is gorgeous. I'd love to be able to paint a rose.
#4 Link is a dead link for me....
But I did get around to visiting all ahead of me. Fun posts this week.
LOVIN' your old pieces this week. That pink glass is depression era I think...beautiful.
I love that cup!! It is beautiful!! Makes me think of some old china I inherited, which I really should unpack!
That cup is gorgeous!
Those are beautiful! Very nice "old things"!
Love the Depression glass!
Great items, vintage and antique.
I see that the cup is a rare thing, even so, the hand painted vase amazes me more. What vivid colours and sublime roses. A really treasure.
