Good Fences

It's Thursday! One more day and it's the weekend. I used to like my job so much I no longer felt Friday Euphoria, but I've been so stressed lately I'm starting to feel it again.

I like the idea of birdhouses on the fence posts.

This fence doesn't look like it would keep much in or out, but it looks nice behind those blooms.

It is pretty, that's for sure, and I bet the birds love it.

Are those birdhouses for bluebirds, I wonder? Yes, the second fence does make a lovely backdrop for the flowers.

Neat.

I like the purple spires of the flowers against the aged wood of the fencing.

Very nice.

I hope you feel allot better as each day

blah.

I'm so dumb! I had a fence post ready (forgive the pun!) and got all excited about my grasshoppers mating!

My kind of fences! My neighbor north of me when their children were in wood working class they built bird houses and placed about six of them on my metal fence posts dividing our property. They are still there!

I agree, the last fence was not made to keep anything in or out. Does makes a nice sight.

Those blooms look like Lupins. Might be wrong. Beautiful fences.

Both fences are nice, but I do like the bird houses. :)
I am just starting my job search, so hopefully I can have Friday euphoria in the near future.

I almost looks like it is there for art! I love the birdhouses, and the little bushes are planted at just the right spots! Oh gosh, what has happened at work?

Can't beat a rustic wood fence.. unless of course there are bluebird houses on them!

A great idea for the bird houses on those railing fences

The birdhouses help keep rain from soaking the top of the posts.

Hello!:) It is a lovely idea to put up bird houses on fences. I like the wooden ones the best, and when they become weathered even more so.

I like the birdhouses, too. Sorry about the job stress, that seems to be the way it is for so many. Hopefully the beauty as shown in your photos provides an escape. You're right about the fence, it doesn't look very substantial, but the effect is nice.

Beautiful fences! I think some are more for looks than practical purposes.

I like the birdhouses on the fence posts, and I really like the decorative, rustic fence in your second image.

Hope you had a restful weekend.
