Rubbish Tuesday #18

It's Rubbish time again. Hope you have some old stuff to share.

No longer used and rusting away.

I think this bike would have made a better yard art display without the pole.

And LOVE this old latch.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will join in the fun.

My idea was to have a place to post 'old things'. Anything old and/or deteriorating such as old houses, barns, outbuildings, old cars, rusty things, antiques, interesting junk, or it can be something in pristine condition, but just old.
1. Link to a post featuring photos of something old.
2. Link back to Rubbish by Roan in your post.
3. As time allows, visit other participants and comment on their posts.

i REALLY like the old grain bin. see so few of them here in texas, but had many in the upper midwest!

surprised they didn't anchor that bike to the front side of the flag pole. i'm sure they need the pole to keep it from being stolen.

Well, I just remembered it's Rubbish day so I linked up!

That grain bin looks like it has been around for awhile. Is it still being used, I wonder.

Love all the pictures, agree about the pole in second image but wonder how it would stay up.

The fancy door handle and bell are so pretty, you don't see these any more. Love the teacup balanced on the back of the bike. I guess he needs to tie it to the pole to keep it upright?

The latch with the bell is just beautiful, it is a shame about the pole, the bike is great. I'm so tempted sometimes to 'rearrange' things for my photos but I guess it might have been difficult with that one.

I like the grain bin too!

Why is it we like the look of rusty iron buildings? I guess they have more character than new buildings do. :)

You found and let us enjoy some fantastic rubbish foodies.

Nice rusty bin! We don't have many of them here. Maybe the bike is holding the pole up. :-)

Oh, Tex said 'grain bin', I thought 'silo'; haha, whichever. I've never seen these storage thing around here. Really interesting♡♡♡
The old latch or door nob is cute with the bell. Thank you very much for hosting, Dear Roan.

Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*

The rusty corrugated iron bin is great. It's amazing what that stuff was used for. I love the other two pics as well, I have two old bikes out the back, I wonder what I can do with them, hmmm.

Lovely finds! I especially like the old silo - something about the rust is attractive to me. :)

Love the brass bell on the ornate door handle!!!

Nice building - the use if corrugated iron sheets is really common in all sorts of buildings here - rain on a "tin" roof is such a great sound!

That grain bin did an excellent job of rusting, don't you think? :)

We have lots of grain silos, I don't really like the shiny pretty ones, the rustier, the better

I love the latch also. And agree, the bike would look nicer without the pole, but I guess someone might take it.

I love the rusty grain bin! Cute decorations on the bike. Beautiful old door handle and bell!

Sorry I didn't get in to participate this week. Got a lot going on this month so may not post anything until October (unless I come across something really good, that is, and can't wait!) :D

I love that old bicycle, but like you I find the pole distracting.

Hopefully I will get to join next week...of all the memes, I have tons of stuff to post for this. The only trouble is deciding which to blog.

I haven't had rubbish, again! Happy to look at these, though! Good work with your meme. Hard to get people on to it! You've done well.
