Rubbish Tuesday #28

I'm b-a-a-a-k! I've been out of town for a few days. Road trip with Punky Doodle. Along the route, somewhere in Missouri, I managed a few drive-by shootings. I have no idea what they were in their former life, but I liked the look of them in this one.

I do know this one was once an elevator. The sign helps. :)

No sign here.

Friend Patty Perfect, who lives in Springfield, Mo, was a good hostess. We enjoyed a nice glass of wine with dinner. I'm not a beer drinker, but some preferred a nice cold beer. I had her save the bottles for my Rubbish post.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will join in the fun.

My idea was to have a place to post 'old things'. Anything old
and/or deteriorating such as, but not limited to, old houses, barns, outbuildings, old cars, rusty things, antiques, interesting junk, or it can be something in pristine condition, but just old.

1. Link to a post featuring photos of something old.
2. Link back to Rubbish by Roan in your post.
3. As time allows, visit other participants and comment on their posts.

Grain elevators are become scarce around here. Cool idea to take photos of the used beer and wine bottles.

Nice elevator and barn! The rust certainly adds character. I'm not a Heineken drinker, but I do like the Mich Ultra.

Love the rusty buildings. The second one might have been a livestock barn of some kind, maybe pigs? Or chickens. Sounds like you had a fun trip and visit (and I like the taller bottles best too ;))

Thank you for hosting!

Rust on old buildings really gives us a chance to get great pictures, and you have done just that!

Great shot of that grain elevator. They are few and far between up here in Connecticut.

Glad you are back! I think that one building might be a chicken house?

I love the old grain elevators. I see quite a few when I go trucking with Bill. Cattle Country still has them.

I love that old grain elevator!!!
There was a place back home called Punky Doodles Corners. It has been so long since I have heard of it, and now I am trying to figure out whether it is near Woodstock, or closer to Toronto...
