I do know this one was once an elevator. The sign helps. :)
No sign here.
Friend Patty Perfect, who lives in Springfield, Mo, was a good hostess. We enjoyed a nice glass of wine with dinner. I'm not a beer drinker, but some preferred a nice cold beer. I had her save the bottles for my Rubbish post.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will join in the fun.
My idea was to have a place to post 'old things'. Anything old
and/or deteriorating such as, but not limited to, old houses, barns, outbuildings, old cars, rusty things, antiques, interesting junk, or it can be something in pristine condition, but just old.
1. Link to a post featuring photos of something old.
2. Link back to Rubbish by Roan in your post.
3. As time allows, visit other participants and comment on their posts.

What a cool elevator, the Purina signs are great. Tom The Backroads Traveller
Grain elevators are become scarce around here. Cool idea to take photos of the used beer and wine bottles.
Nice elevator and barn! The rust certainly adds character. I'm not a Heineken drinker, but I do like the Mich Ultra.
my daughter and grandsons live near Springfield!!!
love that old elevator building! did you know we used to live right outside of springfield? in a little town called willard! it's a beautiful area isn't it?!
really nice elevator! and that is one long barn! glad you made it back safely!
Wow, what a cool barn, great buildings and such fun to get out of town for a trip!
Love the rusty buildings. The second one might have been a livestock barn of some kind, maybe pigs? Or chickens. Sounds like you had a fun trip and visit (and I like the taller bottles best too ;))
Thank you for hosting!
Rust on old buildings really gives us a chance to get great pictures, and you have done just that!
The painted signs are really nostalgic.
The elevator building is unusual and really needs someone to love it!
The old elevator building is super!
Great shot of that grain elevator. They are few and far between up here in Connecticut.
That elevator building is so cool! Glad you had a good time and spirits with friends. :) That always does a heart good.
I have never seen anything like that elevator building in the first shot! Great find. Glad you are back!
Love the elevator and all the other images!
we don't things like that around here so it is interesting to see them
Glad you are back! I think that one building might be a chicken house?
Classic Purina sign. Thanks for sharing.
That grain elevator is great, with lots of color and character. Love all of these and glad that you have a good visit with friends.
Wonderful shots of the barn elevator.
I love the old grain elevators. I see quite a few when I go trucking with Bill. Cattle Country still has them.
I love that old grain elevator!!!
There was a place back home called Punky Doodles Corners. It has been so long since I have heard of it, and now I am trying to figure out whether it is near Woodstock, or closer to Toronto...
First time here...thanks.
Very neat looking old building in your first image, and excellent drive-by capture!
