This odd shaped buildilng was once a lumber yard. Back in the day it was a booming business. Now there is only this long building that once housed boards of all sizes. Seems a farmer found a good use for it, so it remains useful. The rest of the buildings have long since been demolished.
Punky Doodle and 3 of the Punks stopped by for a short visit yesterday.They were on their way back from seeing the Doodler, Punky's father, who lives in Southern Illinois. We decided to take a walk around Lincoln Log Cabin Historical Site to take advantage of this wonderful fall weather we are having. I happened upon this old barrell and a rusty bucket. Of course I thought of Rubbish Tuesday and snapped a shot.
Couldn't resist a picture of this old covered wagon. The kids all gathered around and actually allowed me to take some shots of them with the wagon in the background. I didn't even have to ask. Shocking.

Imagine that covered wagon being your home for months! Always read all the diaries I can find of people traveling west. Just amazing what people can do if they have to.

Just FYI, a lot of people don't understand why the murals are allowed to be in the Denver Airport, but the airport is privately funded, as I mentioned, and the people who control it believe that there will be a cataclysm and then a new world will emerge (New World Order) when most people will be gone and the children of the world will inherit a time of peace, but with the elite in charge. This is one of their ways of telling us what is going on, without trumpeting it loudly. It's like the Georgia Guidestones (look them up if you don't know about them). Just thought you might find it interesting. We just wanted to see them for ourselves.
