Good Fences

From our road trip last week. I worked on my drive by shootings skills.

Don't fence me in....

These traffic barriers are sort of like fences, don't you think? Although they don't always work. I once saw a car come on over to the other side even with the barrier.

And back to my favorite kind of fence...

That razor wire on the fence would certainly be a deterrent to trying to climb over, I'm thinking.

Now that was fun, and we stayed on the road very carefully too! Great views all around town.

Those barriers are so close. I prefer the middle lane...it feels more open.

That last fence is my favorite kind too. I prefer to stay off the interstate as much as possible- I am known to go miles and miles out of the way on back roads to do that. :)

Not bad drive bys! It takes work...I know!

Great job on the drive by shots!

Drives through the countryside much better than any freeway with barriers. I avoid the freeways here. Too much road work going on.

Back roads are my favorite way to travel. And I love the last photo!

Great drive bys! I think any barrier can be considered a fence!

I think those cement barriers are definitely a kind of fence, though as you say, they aren't fool-proof! But the fences along a pasture are my faves too!

Razor wire indicates a place that really doesn't want visitors or people escaping. Yikes!

I hate those concrete barriers as I tend to want to drive towards them for some weird reason but driving over them, that can't be easy.

I like your last fence too, very nice country scene.

I agree! The fences in fields are so much prettier than the giant highway concrete barriers. But I do like those barriers because they keep traffic from coming straight at us!

Very good photos...especially the last one. I take most of mine on the 'drive by', too!

Good old country fence only meant to keep livestock in safety.

Everything is nice and green in your last shot.

Great drive by fence shots. The last one is my preference too. Seeing a car jump the cement barrier must have been terrifying!

I like the variety of your fences. For keeping things out, keeping things in and keep things separate (hopefully).
