Not only do we have hummingbirds on the sunflowers, but we also have several goldfinches.
These shots were taken through the glass in the storm door. The birds were curious but as long as I didn't open the door they went about their business.
Happy Sunday!

They are such a happy bird, very sweet pictures.
Gorgeous shots of these beautiful birds!
The are pretty birds, great captures thru the door. Have a happy Sunday and new week ahead!
Post card perfection Betty!!! Wow.
Thanks for sharing this link with all the bird enthusiasts at I'd Rather B Birdin'
Those are gorgeous!
Sampling some early sunflower seeds. Beautiful.
Your Goldfinches are so much more beautiful than our NZ ones. Ours are actually imports from Britain many years ago they only have a tiny bit of yellow on them. Yours are so bright. They love sunflower seeds just the same though.
They are so pretty. Great shots. Hug B
Wow, beautiful photos! So sunshiny and happy pics.
Pretty color for a bird, lovely images!
Gorgeous photos of the Goldfinches, I get most of my good bird photos through my deck doors too. I have seen gold specks flying toward my neighbors' trees so think they could be goldfinches, but have not seen them up close. For the first time I'm growing sunflowers so they might come visiting but it is far from my house so no windows to spy from. I'm thinking if I want to harvest the seeds for my winter bird visiitors maybe I need to bag some of them.
Our own European Goldfinch are very beautiful but your American Goldfinch are just stunning. I think it is that vibrant almost all over yellow that I like so much.
Super! Never seen here in Holland.

A beautiful couple :)
Beautiful sharp images! I would not have believed they were taken through the glass of the door.
