Carnton Plantation
This fence surrounded a Civil War cemetary on the grounds.
Closer view with a bird. I tried to find him in my bird book, but couldn't identify him. Any ideas?
P.S. He has been identified by my good readers as a Mockingbird! Thanks!

Hello Roan, pretty fence, I like the design. The bird is a mockingbird. Great capture. Enjoy your day!

And wrought iron fences...one of my favorites.
I see that Eileen and Anni have already identified the mockingbird for you. ;)) Lovely wrought iron fence.
Love the fence Roan. I have never seen a Mockingbird so I would never have known. Knowledgeable people here in Blog Land :) Hug B

what a great capture both of fence and bird! I've never seen a mockingbird before so I've found a gem in your rubbish! LOL! I had a good laugh when I read your blog profile and explained why you call it Rubbish by Roan!

The Mocking bird makes it special on the fencing.
Great wrought iron fence. The shot with the bird sitting on it is fabulous.
